The 'Astronomology' of ONE-Aries♈

The 1st Triad Month of the UCC Year

Starts on Day 003 of the Year

Date: 1st Aries♈ UCC

Numerical Date: [YYYYY.01.01]

(c23rd March Gregorian)

The Sun and Earth at ONE-Aries♈

After Days 001 and 002, the first 2 Intercalary Days of the UCC Year which celebrate The New Year and the 'Nobenox' (NOrth Bound EquiNOX) / 1st Quarter Season respectively, we reach Day 003 and the 1st day of the 1st Triad (30 Day Month)

The Sun ☉ has crossed the 0 Hour Right Ascension line of astronomical measurement in the celestial sphere at the 'Nobenox'. (The Nobenox is the Aries♈Equinox, often called the 'Vernal' Equinox and the 'Spring' Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere)

In astrology the Sun ☉ actually enters 0° Aries♈ during UCC 'New Year's Eve', the last day of 'TWELVE-Pisces♓' in the previous year (or on 'Leap Year's Day' at the start of the New Year in a Leap Year)

Correspondingly then at this time the Earth ⊕ reaches the first point of Libra♎ in its spiral around the Sun

The Star Sign of Aries♈ in astrology corresponds to the 2 hours of Right Ascension from 0hrs to 2hrs - the 30° of the ecliptic from 0° to 30° - in astronomy

So, this "Astronomological" event means we can call our 1st Triad 'ONE-Aries♈' as it very closely aligns with the Astrological Star Sign ♈ AND its equivalent Astronomical sector of the sky

It is also the first of the 3 Triads of our 1st Quarter Season; Spring in the Northern Hemisphere, Autumn in the Southern Hemisphere

ONE-Aries♈ comprises of the Decans (10 Day Weeks) 1, 2 & 3 and runs from Day 003 thru 032 of the Year as you can see in the excerpt below from the UCC Year Planner & Gregorian Calendar Converter

  13515.01[Aries♈]

The symbols '☉ ♉' in the graphic above indicate that the Sun ☉ enters the Sun Sign Taurus♉ during Day 031 of the Year on 29th Aries♈ showing how closely our UCC Triad Months align with their equivalent Astrological Sun Signs. The UCC dates are never more than 2 off their corresponding astrological degree in the Zodiac. In Q4 (Northern Winter/Southern Summer) they are exactly the same. The slight differences at certain times of the year are due to the elliptical nature of our orbit around the Sun.

We can see the Astronomy of this time - the start of the UCC Year - which preludes our 1st Triad 'ONE-Aries♈', in the screen shot below from the package 'Stellarium'

The Sun ☉ At 'The Nobenox'

Here we see the Sun on its ecliptic path (the red line) right on the intersection of the 0 hour RA line and 0° Declination, the Celestial Equator

The Triad Month 'ONE-Aries♈' corresponds to the 2 hours of Right Ascension from 0hrs-2hrs.

[Right Ascension is measured Eastward (to the left in the pic) from the '1st Point of Aries' (♈), what I call the 'Nobenox', at 0 Hours RA, where the Sun's Ecliptic path intersects the Celestial Equator rising North]

This Astronomical section of the sky, and therefore our Triad Month of ONE-Aries♈ and the Astrological Sun Sign 'Aries♈', are currently occupied by the Constellation 'Pisces' due to Precession

The Tropical Sun Sign 'Aries♈' shares the name of the Sidereal Star Sign (and its associated Constellation) 'Aries' which it aligns with through one 'Age' (a roughly 2000 year period) during each 24,000 Year (projected average) 'Great Year' cycle of Precession
